Leaving Cert Irish: Gaeloideachas guide document for Parents
The NCCA (National Council for Curriculum and Assessment) is currently holding a public consultation on the draft specifications for Leaving Certificate Irish, published in February. The consultation period is due to end on the 31 August.
This is a very important consultation as it will impact the syllabus / course for Irish as a leaving Certificate subject for your child.
The purpose of this email is to share a guide document on the pertinent issues, as we see them, that may help you in submitting a survey or making a submission.
Gaeloideachas recently held two seminars for parents on this issue – one in Irish and on in English, which are available below for you to watch.
