Irish for Parents

Does your child attend an Irish-medium naíonra or school? Are you attending an Irish language class – in your child’s school maybe, or a general language class for the public?

If so, there’s every chance your teacher is using the classroom materials on www.irishforparents.ie – a website run by Gaeloideachas with classroom materials which are specially developed for the language requirements of parents of children in Irish-medium education, including schools in Gaeltacht areas.

Whether or not you’re taking a class, you’ll find plenty on the site to help you to improve your own Irish. You can access classroom handouts , you can review the video clips, you can access transcripts of the video clips and vocabulary lists associated with the topics covered.
