Féile Bríde / Imbolg has finally arrived to mark the start of An tEarrach and to help with the springtime new starts Gaeloideachas now has copies of the new and improved Déan Comhrá booklet for families with children in Irish schools, scoileanna lán-Ghaeilge, available to order. The vocabulary has been added to and each vocabulary page now has a QR Code that links to a sound file. The other great new feature is a Foghraíocht Na Gaeilge section that provides an easy to understand guide to linking the written word to how to pronounce it; a massive help to those who never learned this in school or were educated outside the state.

The booklet’s development and publication were generously supported by Foras Na Gaeilge and COGG and can be downloaded as a PDF or ordered for free.by our member schools. This new English – Irish version is based on the successful Ukrainian – Irish version.

A new version of Déan Comhrá for families with very young children in pre-school centres, such as a Naíolann or Naíonra, is available too.
