Many people know that mindfulness helps us when we are stressed or anxious, but how can we add another thing to our list; we already have far too much to do!

The journal Mo Leabhairín Beag Féin; Ag cruthú suaimhnis agus síochána sa bhaile agus ar scoil shows you how to easily practice mindfulness with your students or children. On each page of the journal, there are simple practices to do, write or draw. These are practices that will help children feel more peaceful and happy. The journal is available in Irish and English and all the details are here.

However, there may be children in your life who are not at all interested in filling in pages, reading or being quiet at all. How can you help them when they are stressed or upset? Simple! You can make breathing more fun for them! A wooden breathing dice is now available featuring six different animals; an elephant, bee, bird, snake, bear and rabbit. These six different breaths use fun, excitement and animal sounds to show children that having fun and excitement can also help them feel more peaceful. More information about the dice is available here.
